First, if I was going to run x, I think I'd go with a 17" model, because a 19" stretches it out over a larger area and to my eyes at least, looks more pixelated and full of dots. Fp Dell 19" FP Ultra Sharp Lcd Monitor

The picture is excellent, especially when connected to a DVI digital signal. We have not had any dead pixels in any of the monitors, which is more than you can say for some brands.

Brightness is never a problem, and the included USB port is especially useful. I highly recommend the FP dell 1905fp flat panel monitor a general-purpose home or office monitor. In my opinion the size is just right -- I wouldn't want to use anything bigger on a daily basis.
